THE ART OF THE TABLE

HAND-THROWN STONEWARE · 16 CM · SIDE PLATE
A small plate is where a meal begins — a slice of bread, a pat of butter, a handful of olives. This side plate is wheel-thrown from stoneware, each one shaped by hand so that no two are exactly alike, the rim rising in a gentle irregularity that confirms its origin. Glazed in a matte warm white, its surface is soft to the eye and safe for every food. It will hold bread at breakfast, cheese at dinner, cake at tea — quiet, unassuming, essential, the kind of plate you reach for without thinking, and miss when it is in the wash.
Where every small course begins.
